Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, model, and price structured products for origination and distribution, focusing on fixed income products (FX, Rates, Credit, Commodity, Hybrid).
- Understand drivers of relevant local markets, including credit risk, market risk, capital requirements, legal framework, regulatory requirements, and de-risk channels, and establish competence with internal stakeholders and clients in executing trades.
- Follow the firm's approach and policies for managing risks in relevant business and applicable legal and regulatory rules.
- Build trust with internal stakeholders and clients by understanding their needs, articulating desk ideas, and being responsive.
- Prepare presentation materials, financial models, internal risk analysis memos, term sheets, and work with legal to negotiate transaction documents.
- Assist with the post-trade process by ensuring the accuracy of all entries and adherence to internal controls.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Math, or related disciplines.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, familiarity with derivative pricing and common structures.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working within an investment bank structuring or relevant desks.
- Proficiency with market and product lingo; well-versed in the quantitative nature and framework of own product (e.g., documentation, pricing, models).
- Understanding of different types of risk and ability to discuss ways of managing these risks.
- Thorough understanding of market drivers and ability to explain and anticipate market movements.
- Execution-oriented with an understanding of the transaction cycle and process steps.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to defend ideas and target messages to different audiences.
- Ability to interact comfortably with business clients and management.
- Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently.
