About the Team:
The position is Executive Director, Fixed Income Portfolio Manager, based in London. The Fixed Income Portfolio Manager will be a member of the Private Bank's Endowments and Foundations Group (EFG), reporting to the EFG CIO. The team is responsible for developing and implementing cross asset class views in discretionary portfolios for endowments, foundations, and large/institutional-like family offices. This includes strategic, tactical, and vehicle-level decisions across traditional and alternative asset classes. The team comprises individuals in New York, London, and Mumbai and is highly collaborative across regions and with other teams within the firm. With over $20 billion in assets under management, the team currently serves clients in the US, EMEA, and Latin America.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Produce original research and investment ideas in fixed income markets, particularly developed markets outside the US
  • Provide macroeconomic insights on international markets outside the US relevant to fixed income, equity, and currency markets
  • Collaborate with equity, fixed income and multi-asset colleagues in a multi-asset investment context
  • Collaborate with internal partners including client advisors, trade execution specialists and 3 rd party manager due diligence


Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong research and/or portfolio management experience in global fixed income markets
  • Deep understanding of risk management and multi-asset portfolio management
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment on a global team
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to successfully invest via ETFs and actively-managed funds as opposed to single-line bonds


Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Advanced degree and/or CFA charter holder preferred
