Job Summary:

The Supervisor will lead and support a team of FinOps Analysts and Infrastructure Security Governance Engineers. This role is primarily focused on people management, administrative oversight, and team development, while also ensuring that functional deliverables and commitments driven by US counterparts are met. The Supervisor will act as a liaison between local teams and global stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, deadlines, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

People & Administrative Leadership (Primary Focus):

  • Provide day-to-day supervision, coaching, and performance management of team members.
  • Facilitate career development, training plans, and mentoring opportunities.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, team meetings, and performance reviews.
  • Manage team capacity, resource allocation, and leave planning.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance standards, and operational procedures.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for team-related concerns and issues.

Functional Oversight (Secondary Focus):

  • Monitor and ensure timely delivery of functional tasks and project milestones.
  • Coordinate with US-based stakeholders to align on priorities, deadlines, and expectations.
  • Track and report on team KPIs, audit results, and cost optimization efforts.
  • Support implementation of cloud cost management strategies and security governance controls.
  • Ensure audit readiness and compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Promote best practices in FinOps and Infrastructure Security Governance.

Team Scope:

  • FinOps Analysts: Focused on cloud cost optimization, spend analysis, reporting, and financial operations.
  • Infrastructure Security Governance Engineers: Responsible for IT audits, compliance, cloud/on-prem security controls, and automation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT operations, financial analysis, or infrastructure governance.
  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and global teams.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and IT governance frameworks is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive accountability.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in people management within a technical environment.
  • Understanding of FinOps principles and cloud cost management.
  • Knowledge of IT audit processes and security compliance (SOX, HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Proficiency in reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Flexera) and automation concepts.
