We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Reporting Lead to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the team, overseeing the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of Group financial statements. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS and other regulatory requirements. Oversee consolidation process.
  • Leadership: Lead the team of financial reporting managers, providing guidance, training, and support to team members to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary changes in reporting processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including accounting, tax, treasury, and external auditors to ensure seamless financial reporting processes.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the financial reporting function.
  • Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and assist in the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough Sox documentation of financial reporting procedures and ensure proper internal controls are in place.

We expect you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, ACCA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in financial reporting or accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS standards and financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience in the US-listed public companies, participation in preparation of IPO financial will be a plus.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis and implementation of reporting tools/software (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent spoken and written English
