This is a great opportunity for an individual with financial promotions experience in wealth management. You will be joining a dynamic business, working very closely with our marketing team as we embark on the next phase of our growth plan. You need to be highly diligent, organised, proactive, and able to work with a wide range of stakeholders. The role reports into the Head of Marketing.

This is a newly created role within the Marketing function based in our London office. The successful candidate will be responsible for the review and approval of all financial promotions for our financial planning and investment management arms, ensuring they are compliant with required regulatory standards.

The role will focus on material produced for the UK but will also work closely with our Europe and International Compliance teams to ensure local variations are compliant.

The successful candidate is required to possess a strong knowledge of UK regulatory and financial promotions requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing and maintaining a secure first line of defence for the marketing team and business, covering our financial planning and investment management arms.

  • Managing the review and approval of all UK financial promotions. These include a wide variety of financial promotions, advertising, marketing and sales literature, digital and social media assets, pitch documents, client communications, and factsheets.

  • Reviewing marketing material for our European and International arms and liaising with the local compliance teams to obtain approval.

  • Ensuring compliance with all Consumer Duty accountabilities.

  • Assisting the Head of Marketing with the on-going development, review, and maintenance of policies, marketing procedures and MI in relation to financial promotions.

  • Providing support, guidance, and training to the Marketing team on regulatory developments around financial promotions and industry best practice.

  • Carrying out checks of the control framework, escalating and documenting any findings.

  • Working with 2nd line of defence and serve as point of contact within the 1st line for internal and external audits.

About You

The successful candidate should have:

  • Knowledge of financial services sector with previous experience of approving financial promotions within a FCA regulated wealth management business or financial planning business.

  • Strong background in marketing compliance.

  • Good knowledge of FCA COBS regulations specific to Financial Promotions.

  • Knowledge of the marketing and product governance frameworks.

  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbally to support the team and the wider business.
