We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Planning and Reporting Manager to join Norgine. The person holding this position will report to Associate Director of Financial Planning & Reporting and be a member of the Finance team.
The FP&A Manager will play a critical role in driving the financial reporting and planning. This position will provide the strategic insights and support to senior management, ensuring that financial goals are met and that the company’s financial health is maintained.
This will be a permanent role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Monthly Financial reporting:
· Responsible for producing the high quality monthly management pack highlighting key performance indicators and providing insightful concise summaries of financial performance and ensuring “key messages” are delivered.
· and trends for the Group Reporting to senior leadership and Responsible for managing the formal data books in excels on monthly basis as requested by GSAM
· Responsible for pre-close activities- detailed run rate analysis pre GL close in order to ensure the completeness of monthly results
· Co-ordinating with business partners and BU heads to understand all the variances at Group level further understanding and consolidating the CHC and RX business in to Group Reporting pack
· Responsible for keeping all the consistency in all the reports in order to ensure the credibility of all financial reports provided to internal/external parties
· Reviewing variances analysis submissions from business partners to ensure explanations make sense and provide clear and concise commentary for inclusion in the monthly executive report
· Supporting in the follow up to GSAM questions each month to review with the Associate Director of FP&R prior to submission
· Building and maintain reporting models that continually meet the requirements of GSAM each month
· Identifying, suggesting and implementing improvements to the Group’s management reporting
· Guide and provide input to Genpact, financial controllers and finance business partners for enhancing standardised templates. These will support analysis of key performance indicators (KPI’s), facilitate provision of concise explanations of monthly variances and focus on key business trends to provide simple but insightful analysis
· Understanding and maintaining the P&L hierarchy in system from Group perspective and leading the change with Tm1/Planful team to incorporate if any changes required.
Quarterly Lender reporting:
· Responsible for producing the high quality Lender decks which are written in a highly progressional way suitable for an external audience.
· Ensuring the lender deck provides insightful summary analysis of the group performance, highlighting key messages and ensuring the accuracy of the data is assured.
Budgeting, forecasting and 5YP
- Develop and manage the annual budgeting process and 5YP ensuring alignment with strategic goals
- Preparation of slides and other analysis to be included in presentations( Budget, Forecast, Rolling forecast and 5YP) to the Executive Committee and GSAM and Board Papers
- Building models and output files to meet the reporting needs of GSAM
- Support with the review of budgets and forecast submissions performing analysis to understand trends and variances to previous submissions
- Support with the preparation of Group cashflow and balance sheet forecasts flagging key assumptions and identifying the key drivers which could result in an improvement in the working capital position.
- Professionally qualified individual (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/MBA or overseas equivalent) with minimum 3-5 years’ experience in publicly listed company or private equity
- Analytically strong with highly developed knowledge and ability to specify and use IT systems to achieve process improvements and the conversion of data into meaningful business information
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines
- Confident presenting to and dealing with Senior Stakeholders
- Planning and organisational skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to build excellent working relationships at all levels to support stakeholders
- Ability to work autonomously, initiate and deliver change; have a proactive and creative approach to problem solving
