About the Role

Level: 4

Location: Southampton, hybrid

Department: Distribution

Contract: Permanent

As part of expansion plans for the Advice Hub we are looking to recruit a team of Financial Planners to focus on onboarding new clients via our Affinity Lead programme. This newly formed team will be based in our flagship Southampton Office. 

 

Working with customers to identify financial requirements and needs as well as recommending suitable investment and advice vehicles to support customers’ financial goals. 

 

This is fully supported financial planner role, with leads provided, a dedicated support team and inhouse paraplanning services available. 

 

The role will also be a regulated role therefore it’s essential the successful candidate is Level 4 Diploma qualified in Financial Advice. 

Regulatory obligations 

This regulated role plays an integral role in the oversight of advice and service delivery. 

This role will directly impact good customer outcomes by driving strategy, listening and engaging with our customers and ensuring advice standards and processes are adhered to. It supports strong consumer understanding of our propositions and ensuring avoidance of foreseeable harm to our customers. 

Duties performed will directly contribute to overall positive outcomes for our customers by ensuring delivery against our commitment to providing positive financial futures. 

About You

Located within a commutable distance from Southampton or be prepared to relocate at your expense. 

 

You will have strong knowledge of the Financial Services industry as well as an extensive background in Financial Planning. 

 

As an essential requirement for this role, you must be an experienced Financial Planner with competency status as well being able to demonstrate a significant track record of onboarding new clients.   

 

You will be an excellent, clear communicator and be able to act with focus and care towards the client. 

 

Adaptable by nature and who can work professionally and ethically. You’ll have a shared vision and disciplined delivery of advice and provision of detailed KPI’s, as well as the ability to work under pressure and to manage good working relationships. 

 

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience in the following key areas:    

  • Advice/sales 

  • Client relationship management 

  • Attainment of KPIs including lead conversion 

  • Relevant business development experience 

 

You must have your Level 4 diploma in Financial Advice to be considered for this opportunity.
