About the Role

The Advice Hub is a critical growth function across the Quilter Group. Consisting of Financial Planners and support staff, providing first class ongoing financial advice to clients who have joined us as a result of acquisitions. The Advice Hub is a place for individuals to thrive, embrace digital and deliver positive client outcomes.

As part of expansion plans for The Advice Hub we are looking to recruit an additional Financial Planning Manager to lead a team of Financial Planners based in the South of England.

The role will be to coordinate the efforts of the team to deliver ongoing servicing to existing customers and grow our relationship with them. Predominantly through the means of remote financial advice, the team look to increase client retention and deliver on the advice needs of our customers. The Financial Planning Manager is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of service to our valued customers and the delivery of developments within The Advice Hub.

The team will consist of Financial Planners with varying levels of Advisory experience therefore coaching and mentoring is essential to this role. Oversight of the team’s delivery against our advice standards, service standards and competence. In additional to business targets set.

Creating a positive and productive team culture is essential, with targeted expansion plans already underway The Financial Planning Manager will also have responsibility for recruitment of new Financial Planners into the team.

The role will also be a regulated role therefore it’s essential the successful candidate is Level 4 Diploma qualified in Financial Advice.

The successful candidate will join The Advice Hub management team where it is very much a collaborative contribution to deliver against our plans.

Whilst this isn’t a directly customer facing role, the duties you will perform support direct overall positive

outcomes for our customers by enabling our leaders to make informed decisions which balance the trade-off between risk and reward and ensure regulatory compliance. This contributes to improved services,

customer centric outcomes, stability, responsiveness, and overall customer satisfaction.

About You

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience in the following key areas:   

  • Advice/sales
  • Client relationship management
  • Coaching/mentoring skills
  • Relevant business development experience
  • Leading/managing people

As the Financial Planning Manager, you will have a track record of working in financial services in a management or senior advisory position.

You will be experienced in regulated financial advice.

Be delivery focused, with high energy and drive, and ability to deliver through others.

Have exceptional interpersonal skills – able to build relationships and lead through influence at different levels.

Creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Able to utilise strong mentoring and coaching skills to engage and lead advisers.

You will be focused on results and achievement of targets.

Have a high level of personal confidence, able to lead, manage change through influence and persuasion and inspire others.

You must have your Level 4 diploma in Financial Advice to be considered for this opportunity.
