Job Description

You will join Wise’s Financial Crime product team as a program manager to help product-engineering teams identify, prioritise and execute improvements in Wise’s Financial Crime compliance program globally. 


Here’s how you’ll do:

  • Work with compliance teams globally to understand, prioritize and scope issues in Wise’s FinCrime program

  • Work with product managers and engineers to understand the technical plan and timelines to execute

  • Work with analysts and operational teams to ensure that operational capacity is available for smooth rollout of changes

  • Create governance and drive project execution of large-scale multidimensional projects across our global Financial Crime compliance program. 

  • Ensure that program changes are well documented and that improvements are correctly reported to the organization

  • You’ll be reporting directly into the Product Lead of Financial Crime

  • You’ll clearly define success and evaluate progress with both qualitative and quantitative methods.

A bit about you: 

  • 6+ years of project or programme management

  • Proven track record managing complex, multi-phase projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies. Program Delivery: Expertise in managing complex, multi-phase projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.

  • Alternatively, you’ve built products at scale. You’ve worked on products with thousands or even millions of users, navigating the complexity of both product and organisation.

  • You can influence people without authority 

  • Skilled in creating high-quality project plans, breaking down tasks, mapping dependencies, and identifying the critical path to launch.

  • You’re hands-on. Whether it’s diving deep into data analysis, design, or regulations, you have a superpower as an individual contributor.

  • Governance & Risk Management: Proven ability to manage risks and ensure project governance.

  • Compliance: Focus on achieving results while adhering to regulatory requirements.

  • Expertise in resolving challenges, making impactful decisions, and acting autonomously.

  • Decision Making & Problem Solving: Strong decision-making skills and expertise in overcoming complex challenges.

  • You’re data-driven. You know how to gather and interpret data to identify opportunities and measure impact. You can inspire others by telling compelling stories with data.

  • You bring fresh ideas. You question the status quo and love solving problems creatively. You’re able to communicate the impact of your ideas and formulate actionable plans to bring them to life.
