About the team

The Compliance Advisory Team (CAT) is part of the Compliance Service & Insight Group (CSI) which helps to protect Worldpay against money laundering, terrorist financing and wider financial crime risks. The team remains proactive in their approach to identifying risk and through collaborating with internal stakeholders, can add value to the business by identifying ways to improve the overall customer experience at Worldpay.

Our Legal, Risk, Compliance and Audit teams ensure we're doing business the right way. They help us balance a healthy risk appetite, so we're empowered to expand our horizons.

What you’ll own

  • Responsible for the build and maintenance of the CDD learning hub.
  • Educate and advise the business on CAT escalations (CDD guidance, CDD exceptions and risk rating amendments).
  • Consolidate monthly data and produce MI data pack for internal stakeholders
  • Analyse data trends to develop and deliver targeted workshops for 1LoD.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide support on projects e.g. Financial Crime Compliance Operations team, Onboarding team and senior stakeholders across the wider business.

What you bring

  • 2 to 5 years’ experience of providing financial crime compliance advisory services in a global payment’s environment, large financial institution or fintech.
  • 2LOD defence level experience preferred but not essential.
  • Background knowledge of KYC/CDD.
  • Experience of learning & development i.e. producing training modules, providing training to classroom based audience, development and management of group workshops.
  • Knowledge of wider financial crime risks e.g. bribery and corruption, sanctions and money laundering.
  • Stakeholder engagement experience.
  • The ability to handle and resolve challenging situations, work in a collaborative manner and be part of a wider AML Financial Crime Compliance team.
