About this role

Legal and Compliance at BlackRock: BlackRock's Global Compliance Department protects BlackRock’s reputation and provides advice to the business focused on ensuring the protection of our client’s best interests.  The department is a dynamic environment with the team focused on understanding evolving business strategy, challenging and advising on the impact of regulation in our business.

About the Role: The role is primarily to support the Firm’s global fraud framework and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC) risk management framework. It will also involve working with the wider EMEA Financial Crime team to provide regional support on financial crime risks. The role will involve liaising with different business areas to manage financial crime risk.

Job Purpose / Responsibilities: The candidate will work alongside the Fraud, ABC and EMEA Financial Crime teams and will develop strong working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, cultivating and enhancing BlackRock’s compliance culture:

  • Work closely with the Global Fraud & ABC Risk Lead in executing key elements of the overall global fraud and ABC risk framework
  • Prepare fraud and anti-bribery and corruption metrics and reporting for management by collecting and analyzing information
  • Support fraud and ABC investigations on a regional and global basis, as needed, including liaising with local AML Officers in relation to fraud and bribery events and assisting with the drafting of suspicious activity reports.
  • Support the EMEA Financial Crime team in delivering day to day financial crime support for certain business activities 
  • Liaise with business stakeholders and risk partners to review, advise and enhance financial crime controls
