The Role

The continued growth of LiveScore Group has opened up a brilliant opportunity for a qualified and ambitious accountant to be responsible for our international accounting operations. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead our dedicated London based finance team servicing the Group account functions for offices located in the UK, Europe, Nigeria and South Africa, ensuring all accounting records are maintained and accurately reported in accordance with applicable laws and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the CFO you will be responsible for the accounting operations of the group, overseeing all accounting functions within the business ensuring all accounting records are maintained and accurately reported in accordance with applicable laws and accounting standards.
  • Coordinating and managing the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts and reporting of variances.
  • Preparation and publishing of monthly management accounts and all supporting packs and any other adhoc financial reporting requests.
  • Overall responsibility for planning and delivery of annual group audit
  • Responsible for annual financial statements and ensuring prompt filing of statutory accounts with Companies House
  • Preparation, review and authorise UK and international tax computations with assistance of group tax advisors
  • Proactive role in tax compliance
  • Responsible for understanding and setting of group transfer pricing policies


  • Responsible for documenting business processes and accounting policies.
  • Ensuring the finance team operates with a robust control environment and pivotal in the development of all internal control policies and procedures.
  • Support the business with the financial strategy and decision-making process.
  • Ensuring all financial systems are fit for purpose and are maintained and actively looking to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintaining relationships with external advisors, including auditors and tax advisors.
  • Management of UK accounting team including supervision, mentoring, motivating and development support. 

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Qualified accountant ACCA or ACA equivalent
  • Proven experience in a financial leadership role
  • Compliance and controls experience
  • Proven management and leadership capability
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to influence people at all levels
  • Experience in the online sports betting sector advantageous
  • Experience in an M&A process advantageous
  • Ability to work autonomously, under tight deadlines
