    Job Description

    We are currently seeking a Financial Controller to join our Finance Team based in London to work on a subsidiary of the Group. This is an ideal role for a Qualified Accountant looking for an opportunity to work in a varied and fast paced environment. 

    This role is based 5 days a week at our Oxford Street HQ.

    Duties:

    Annually

    • Ensuring that the statutory accounts for entities are prepared, reviewed, authorised correctly, signed and submitted to Companies House on time
    • Running the annual audit
    • Maintaining and reviewing annual budgets on property and other assets including providing BvA
    • Handling UK & ROW Insurance policies
    • Dealing with clients overseas tax, corporation tax and VAT

    Quarterly

    • Ensuring Management Accounts are prepared as accurately as possible and in a timely manner

    Monthly

    • Preparing monthly cash balance reports and spending reports
    • Reviewing and approving company payroll on ADP/Epaywindow
    • Managing credit cards including monthly review of transactions
    • Checking client Deutsche Bank accounts and maintaining funds

    Weekly

    • Ensuring weekly payment runs for outstanding invoices are authorised and processed
    • Reviewing bank accounts and arranging transfers when needed
    • Reporting cash income/outgoings & duties performed

    Daily

    • Posting and payment of Purchase Invoices using Xero software
    • Ensuring the accounting records for all entities are updated and accurate
    • Organising emergency payments for urgent invoices when required


    Qualifications

    • Newly qualified - ACA/ACCA preferred
    • Experience dealing with confidential projects and clients is essential
    • Flexible approach to work- understands the important of being adaptable and open to changing situations
    • Strong communication skills- able to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels within an organisation
    • Proficient using Excel
    • Experience in Xero is desirable
    • Strong tax knowledge (personal/company) is desirable
