Financial Controller

One Beyond is seeking a Financial Controller to manage its accounting and finance department. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong accounting knowledge and leadership capabilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a Financial Controller to thrive in a challenging and rewarding role.

Contract Type: Permanent, full time,

Work Arrangement: Flexible Hybrid role

The Role, Key responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage key performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to enhance your department's effectiveness, producing cyclical reports to demonstrate team performance.
  • Lead a small Accounts team to align their duties with business objectives
  • Ensure your team are equipped with the tools, training and mentorship required to achieve their professional development goals.
  • To identify and deliver improvements in the work of the financial control team.
  • Lead a diverse team, dispersed across multiple locations, nurturing a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Contribute to and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with the overall business objectives, ensuring financial stability and growth.
  • Oversee aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, providing timely and accurate financial insights to support decision-making.
  • Support with financial risk management, implementing policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization, providing financial guidance and insights to support operational efficiencies and strategic initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions, investors, and external stakeholders, fostering strong partnerships to support financial goals.
  • Manage a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and integrity.

The successful candidate will:

  • The ideal candidate has strong accounting knowledge and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software.
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
