We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our burgeoning valuation/advisory practice.
The firm’s Valuation and Advisory Services group provides valuations used in M&A, complex tax structuring and shareholder transactions.
Ideal candidates will have a background in either: (a) direct business valuation or economic damages valuation experience; (b) corporate M&A, with experience identifying/analyzing companies for acquisition; (c) corporate FP&A, with experience in developing long-term plans and presentations at a board-level; or (d) audit, at an internationally recognized accounting firm.
Work hours will match working hours in the U.S. [13:00-22:00, dinner break (one hour between 17:00-18:00)] The working hours can be flexible during the day, but you will work with your US team to ensure some of your work hours overlaps with your US team’s schedule.
As a Financial Analyst in our Armenia office, you will be responsible for the following:
- Financial statement modeling and analysis.
- Preparing equity valuations using market-based (market multiples), income-based (DCF) methodologies, and other modeling analyses.
- Developing client materials including written reports and PowerPoint presentations.
To be successful, these are the skills, qualities and experience you will need:
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
- Exceptional financial modeling skills.
- Practical and/or academic familiarity with corporate financial and valuation theories.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, mathematics or engineering.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, solid research and analytical skills, and the ability to work well both autonomously and in a team environment (remote/in-person).
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to think creatively to keep engagements on schedule.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exceptional financial modeling skillset including three statement modeling, DCFs, and LBOs.
- Strong knowledge of accounting (e.g. audit).
- Strong written and verbal English communication.
