We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Qualified Financial Accountant to join our finance team. This role will support the preparation of statutory accounts, management reporting, and compliance activities across our UK and EU entities. Financial Accountant

About the role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Qualified Financial Accountant to join our finance team. This role will support the preparation of statutory accounts, management reporting, and compliance activities across our UK and EU entities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Assist with the preparation of UK and EU VAT returns as required.
- Prepare journals for UK/EU entities, covering a wide range of areas.
- Support the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations when required.
- Prepare and provide deliverables to external advisors for UK/EU accounts and tax returns.
- Assist with audit deliverables and accounts preparation across UK and EU entities.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to provide financial and statutory information as needed.
Skills & Qualifications Required
- Part qualified CCAB (ACA, ICAS, CAI, ACCA, etc.) or CIMA accountant (essential)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and statutory reporting requirements.
- Experience with VAT and tax compliance processes is desirable.
- Experience with oracle cloud (desirable)
- Experience in practice or in an external reporting team in industry (desirable)
