FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT (m/f/d)
In this position you will be part of our accounts payable team and, in addition to the operative day- to-day business, you will be mainly responsible for the monthly accounts payable closing and the support in the general ledger.
Key Accountabilities and Activities
- Responsible for organising DEEU Internal process, J-Sox and self-audits.
- Researches and interprets accounting regulations and policies to resolve procedural questions.
- Responsible for Transfer Pricing/Pass through rates.
- Support with VAT returns and compliances (All sites Germany).
- Keeping track of financial transactions, to ensure they're accurate.
- Analyzing financial information and summarizing financial status.
- Analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
- Main contact person for the monthly closing accounts as well as for internal audit and EY auditors.
- Processing of general ledger entries (monthly accrual) prepaid (time accrual), foreign trade reporting and accounts reconciliation.
Your profile
- You are familiar with financial accounting systems and have good SAP user skills (S/4HANA)
- You work independently, have high expectations of your work results, are a team player and keep an overview even in time-critical projects
- You have an Accounting or finance degree.
- Solid knowledge of accounting regulations.
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role.
- A good proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- A solid understanding of bookkeeping competencies.
- You have good time management skills.
- Ability to remain confidential.
- Additional certification is a bonus.
- You are fluent in German, have a good command of English (written and spoken) and a good knowledge of MS Office.
