THE ROLE

We are seeking a Finance Systems Analyst to join our team in London. This role is ideal for a technically minded accountant or a tech-savvy professional with strong accounting knowledge. You will act as the bridge between Finance and Technology, ensuring our financial systems are optimized to support business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support and maintain the finance ERP system (NetSuite)
  • Collaborate with finance teams to understand requirements and translate them into system solutions
  • Assist with system configuration, reporting, and troubleshooting
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial processes
  • Participate in system upgrades and process improvement initiatives
  • Provide user support and training for finance systems
  • Work closely with IT and finance stakeholders to streamline workflows.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Time management & prioritization skills- things can get a little hectic, so the ability to effectively manage yourself and your workload is critical
  • Excellent communication skills (in English or/and other European languages) - you must be able to organize your thoughts in a way that others find clear and compelling. You will be expected to together well-written, grammatically correct emails and other communications. When communicating verbally – whether over the phone, on video calls, in person or meetings – you will need to be articulate, warm and engaging
  • Flexibility- being an effective team player means being flexible in your approach and open to getting involved with new things, even if they are not spelt out in your job description
  • Intellectual Curiosity – we are looking for someone who is truly interested in our profession and has the intellectual curiosity to delve deep into topics and bring fresh ideas to the team
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial processes (GL, AP, AR, month-end close).
  • Technical Aptitude: Comfortable working with systems, data and reporting tools
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to identify issues, analyze data, and propose solutions
  • Detail Oriented: Experience in gathering requirements and documentation.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 3 years of experience of working in NetSuite
  • CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualification highly desirable
  • The right to work in the UK.

ABOUT US
