  • Offer expert advice on finance policies and processes, including guidance on SAP usage.

  • Maintain matter management systems and processes, including matter opening, time recording, billing, and debt collection, ensuring timely responses and appropriate testing of changes.

  • Approve and progress authorisation and access requests, ensuring compliance with finance policy and segregation of duties.

  • Conduct periodic authorisation reviews in collaboration with global finance managers and external auditors.

  • Monitor system error logs, investigate and resolve issues, liaising with HR, ISS and other functions as needed.

  • Prepare documentation for policy and process updates, contribute to training materials, and support communication of changes.

  • Support senior PI colleagues on strategic and BAU projects, including testing new solutions and assisting with user training.

What we’re looking for:

  • 2–3 years’ experience in finance, with exposure to a broad range of activities and strong skills in areas such as legal billing, eBilling, time recording, matter opening, WIP management and cash collection.

  • Solid understanding of core accounting processes including month-end, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable.

  • Proficiency in excel and experience working with SAP and involvement in financial system upgrades or development.

  • Familiarity with the professional services industry and working with colleagues across different countries.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach and the ability to manage expectations.

What's on offer:

This role can be based in our London offices, with a hybrid working model available.

Joining Team Linklaters will see you qualify for a range of benefits designed to reward the vital contribution you'll be making to our success. These include:
