About the Role & Team

 

The Direct-to-Consumer Finance team are responsible for the financial management of Disney+ in EMEA available in 70 markets.

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager who has a strong media background and excellent stakeholder management skills.

What You Will Do

  • Review and consolidate EMEA local content spend for financial planning cycles (Close, Forecast & Annual Operating plan) 

  • Prepare US local content submissions 

  • Business support for UK and regional acquisition and programming teams  

  • Track global content slate and costs 

  • Partner with the programming team to appraise the localisation strategy by analysing KPIs and return on investment 

  • Finance representative in cross function process mapping  

  • Develop close relationships with the wider EMEA Finance team, with a ‘one team’ approach’ and build a network across lines of business, markets, Burbank and controllership, sharing resources and knowledge 

  • Adopt a flexible approach to provide ad hoc finance support to the wider D+ finance and business teams 

 

Required Experience & Skills

  • ACA/CIMA Qualified or equivalent qualification  

  • Significant experience in business partnering, financial planning and analysis

  • Comfortable working with large volumes of data, preparing insightful reporting and analysis to support management decision making 

  • Experience in presentations will be useful 

  • Attention to detail 

  • Working in an equivalent role within the Media sector a big plus 

  • Working with financial IT systems, SAP/BW, Cognos Reporting and excellent proven Excel skills
