ROLE SUMMARY

We oversee enterprise-wide initiatives that protect critical digital assets, strengthen the resilience and reliability of our technology infrastructure, and enable secure, scalable cloud capabilities in support of business growth. Through disciplined portfolio governance, financial management, and strategic alignment, we ensure investments effectively mitigate cyber risk, enhance operational resilience, and advance a strong, enterprise-wide culture of security and accountability.
The Manager, Finance is accountable for the financial oversight and treatment of the Chief Information Security Office (CISO) budget. The Manager, Finance has operational activities to ensure CISO key financial commitments are achieved. Including but not limited to operating expense management, capital expense management along with annual forecasting and month end close activities. The position will perform this function in partnership with the CISO Leadership Team (LT) members and will work directly for the CISO Director of Finance.
This role will require strong analytical ability, coupled with knowledge of business, finance analysis tools, and methodologies.

The Manager, Finance is responsible for, and not limited to, conducting the following key activities:
Business Partnership & Strategic Support
- Partner with leadership and service owners by providing timely, data-driven financial analysis to support performance monitoring, optimization efforts, and investment decisions.
- Proactively identify risks, variances, and opportunities, escalating insights and recommendations to enable informed decision-making.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Support CISO financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and detailed financial analysis across service towers and regions.
- Lead monthly business reviews, synthesizing financial insights into succinct, actionable narratives.
- Track spending for Non OpEx (CapEx, DBI, Restructuring, etc.) ensuring proper monitoring and transparency.
Systems & Tools Management
- Support standardization efforts in reporting, forecasting, and KPI tracking by improving data quality, consistency, and timeliness.
- Build and maintain Power BI / Tableau dashboards that improve visibility, self-service reporting, and proactive performance management.
- Leverage AI-assisted analysis to accelerate insight generation, scenario testing, and communication clarity across finance and cross-functional partners.
Compliance & Governance Support
- Oversee global budget planning, monitoring, and reporting.
- Coordinate submissions for capital investments, ensuring compliance with requirements.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Collaborate across Pfizer's matrix to align CISO finance with divisional objectives.
- Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
- 4+ years of proven experience in financial reporting/consolidation/audit.
- Proficiency with SAP
- Deep understanding of finance IT systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, complex formulas.)
- Knowledge of Greek GAAP.
- Fluent in English.
- Demonstrated experience in an agile work environment possessing qualities such as a collaborative mindset, adaptability to change, and a proactive problem-solving approach
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA/ACCA (or in progress) is a plus.
- Preferred experience in the pharma industry.
- Proficiency with Tableau / Power BI preferred.
- Experience in Generative AI for reporting, insights and Intelligent automation (RPA + AI) for financial processes desirable.
- Deep understanding of Pfizer's international financial processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot/Data Model.)
- Familiarity with US/UK local GAAP is a plus.
- Knowledge of Pfizer Accounting practices and policies.
