Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit monthly management accounts and quarterly reports in a timely manner.
  • Assist in implementing and monitoring performance metrics and KPIs across business units
  • Support the teams with annual financial audits and ensure timely submission of audited accounts to the necessary authorities.
  • Responsible for preparation of all regulatory financial reporting.
  • Overseeing daily reconciliation and liquidity management across payment accounts and embedded clients to ensure compliance with safeguarding regulations and cards scheme adherence.
  • Drive automation of reporting obligations through understanding of data flows, and familiarisation with various reporting platforms.
  • Monitor the company-wide implementation and performance of the strategic plan. Assist in developing long term financial projections in line with the growth of the Company.
  • Ensuring that all accounting records and information on file are kept up to date
  • Responsible for maintaining up-to-date Finance Manual and Procedures and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures
  • Assist in managing cashflow and funding responsibilities
  • Support the CFO and other functions of the Institution in their financial reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • This role would suit a newly qualified individual, or individual looking to move into a broad finance role
  • Have an analytical mind with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle day to day processing tasks coupled with strategic outlook and forward thinking attitude
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Highly organized and pro-active with a can-do attitude
  • Great communication & organisational skills and fluent in English

Preferred Skills

  • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification
  • Experience with MS Dynamics 365 Business Central an advantage
  • Keen interest in automating finance processes and reconciliations
