The Finance Manager will manage financial reporting, oversee audits, monitor KPIs, handle cashflow, and assist in strategic financial planning.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit monthly management accounts and quarterly reports in a timely manner.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring performance metrics and KPIs across business units
- Support the teams with annual financial audits and ensure timely submission of audited accounts to the necessary authorities.
- Responsible for preparation of all regulatory financial reporting.
- Overseeing daily reconciliation and liquidity management across payment accounts and embedded clients to ensure compliance with safeguarding regulations and cards scheme adherence.
- Drive automation of reporting obligations through understanding of data flows, and familiarisation with various reporting platforms.
- Monitor the company-wide implementation and performance of the strategic plan. Assist in developing long term financial projections in line with the growth of the Company.
- Ensuring that all accounting records and information on file are kept up to date
- Responsible for maintaining up-to-date Finance Manual and Procedures and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures
- Assist in managing cashflow and funding responsibilities
- Support the CFO and other functions of the Institution in their financial reporting requirements.
Requirements
- This role would suit a newly qualified individual, or individual looking to move into a broad finance role
- Have an analytical mind with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle day to day processing tasks coupled with strategic outlook and forward thinking attitude
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Highly organized and pro-active with a can-do attitude
- Great communication & organisational skills and fluent in English
Preferred Skills
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification
- Experience with MS Dynamics 365 Business Central an advantage
- Keen interest in automating finance processes and reconciliations
