Are you ready to rethink your routine? We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our Finance team. Reporting directly into the Head of Financial Control and supported by the Assistant Management Accountant and Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for the day to day transactions and production of management accounts.

The Role 

Your daily to-dos might look like this:

  • Running and reviewing the monthly management account process across all Trinny London entities
  • Review, translation and posting of monthly journals and daily interfaces (Adeyn/Paypal)
  • Analysis and presentation of month-end results to Head of Financial Control and Finance Director
  • Lead in stock reconciliations and calculation of stock provisioning
  • Oversee reporting from concession partners and posting turnover & costs into NetSuite
  • Lead, motivate and manage a team of three people (Accounts Assistant, Assistant Management Accountant and Senior Management Accountant)
  • With the help from the team, prepare and review balance sheet reconciliation on a monthly basis
  • Work on the interim and final audit carried out by 3rd party audit partner
  • Manage interfaces from third party systems (ecommerce / customer data)
  • Involvement with the ERP system (Netsuite) in testing and development
  • Supporting the Head of Financial Control with ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting and project assignments as required
  • Be a business partner, building strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Work with the wider team to promote continuous improvement and make suggestions for internal process development
Requirements

These skills will help you go far in this role:

  • Qualified accountant with post-qualification experience
  • Experience with NetSuite (our ERP)
  • Solid knowledge of accounting and financial principles and practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A problem solver with attention to detail
  • Line management experience of a small team
  • Experience within SME in an e-commerce business – retail, fashion or beauty is desirable
  • Organisational and ownership skills
