The opportunity

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. As a valued partner to teams across the business, you’ll provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making as we continue to grow. This is a unique chance to gain a deep understanding of business transactions, while identifying and implementing continuous improvements and automation in financial processes.

What you’ll be doing

  • Take a proactive lead in month end processes – reconciling fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, and reporting end to end 
  • Build relationships in teams across the business in order to provide insightful analysis to business units as Quantexa continues to grow 
  • Gain an understanding of business transactions and accounting flows, whilst identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives related to finance processes, including reporting, data gathering, analysis and enhancement of existing processes to maximise automation of financial processes 
  • Providing information to external auditors and other advisors where necessary 
  • Work to design and automate new processes with the goal of driving maximum efficiency and accuracy across the finance function 
  • Other ad hoc responsibilities as they occur 
Requirements

What you’ll bring

  • Qualified accountant – ACCA/ACA/CIMA with first time passes; 
  • Years experience in relevant accounting role
  • Experience automating and improving processes through systematisation
  • Experience building and preparing reporting packs using a reporting tool
  • Advanced Excel skills; and 
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
