Purpose of the Job:

As the FP&A Manager for the UK & Ireland, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial performance, strategic direction, and commercial decision‑making of the business. Partnering closely with the Senior Leadership Team, marketing, sales, and global finance stakeholders, you will own core forecasting, performance reporting, and analytical processes that drive growth and profitability. This role is ideal for a proactive, commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, brings strong technical expertise, and is motivated by influencing strategy through data‑driven insight.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead & Develop the FP&A Team
Manage, coach, and support two Financial Analysts and oversee work from Genpact IBP, ensuring high‑quality outputs and growth.

Lead Budgeting & Mid‑Range Planning
Play a central role in the annual Budget planning cycles and monthly outlook, ROI analysis, and deck development.

Support Commercial Decision‑Making
Act as a finance business partner to Sales and Marketing, evaluating launches, trade spend initiatives, and KPIs.

Produce Executive‑Level Reporting & Presentations
Drive the design and implementation of the value-added reporting and analytics for UK & Ireland.

Oversee Month‑End Performance Reporting
Deliver accurate monthly P&L performance, including sales submissions, inventory, samples, and Price/Volume/Mix analysis.

Drive Business Reviews & S&OP Financials
Represent finance in Monthly Business Reviews and the S&OP process, providing variance analysis and actionable insights.

Manage Trade Spend & Marketing Investment
Control trade spend and variable marketing accruals, ensuring accuracy, governance, and commercial visibility.

Lead COGS & Margin Analysis
Analyse monthly COGS and GM% variances, highlighting key drivers, risks, and opportunities to leadership.

Ensure Strong Financial Controls & Governance
Maintain adherence to GICFR, review purchase requisitions in Coupa, and drive continuous process improvements.

Profile Requirements and Competencies:

Education:

  • Qualified Account (ACCA / ACA / CIMA / ICSA) preferred
  • Degree level education required

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the Aesthetics / Pharmaceutical / FMCG industry

Competencies:

  • UK GAAP and IAS Contractual knowledge (or similar experience from other countries)
  • Innovative thinker, challenging the status quo with the ability to drive change up and down the organisation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possesses a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Experience of mainframe accounting systems and good IT skills
  • Team player with a strong customer oriented focus / approach
  • Meet timely deadlines and accept responsibility for the tasks taken on by their team.
