FINANCE 

We're a diverse team who partners and supports the business to enable delivery against our strategic and financial goals. All of our functions have an instrumental role within Farfetch to drive forward a financially sustainable business, ensuring we set the guardrails for financial control and enable financial performance.


LONDON

Our London office is located in Old Street, London’s tech hub, and is home to a wide range of teams. Our open space is ideal for collaborative work and sharing ideas. We also have a large outdoor terrace, which is the perfect spot to have a team lunch or host events.


ROLE

As a Finance Intern, you will be immersed in real-world financial operations, working closely with seasoned professionals on high-impact projects. WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Conduct analysis of large data sets to extract insights, provide actionable recommendations
  • Evaluate profitability across different parts of the business to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Work cross-functionally on end-to-end strategic initiatives - from evaluating options and assessing trade-offs, to tracking execution and presenting findings to senior leadership.
  • Assignments may include (depending on final placement): performance analysis of marketing channels with optimisation recommendations and in-depth pricing analysis of Farfetch’s position versus competitors, including price audit, root-cause investigations and improvement suggestions.
  • Engage in continuous learning through hands-on experience and mentorship.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Recently completed a postgraduate degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field with excellent results.
  • Up to 1 year of relevant experience, such as internships or part-time roles in finance, consulting, or related fields. Experience in tech or FMCG is a plus, as well as working with large data sets.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take on new challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Exceptional quantitative skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesise complex data and communicate insights effectively.
  • Technical skills: Proficient in Excel (required); experience with SQL, Looker, and/or Tableau is a strong plus..
