FINANCE

LONDON
Our London office is located in Old Street, London’s tech hub, and is home to a wide range of teams. Our open space is ideal for collaborative work and sharing ideas. We also have a large outdoor terrace, which is the perfect spot to have a team lunch or host events.
ROLE
As a Finance Intern, you will be immersed in real-world financial operations, working closely with seasoned professionals on high-impact projects. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Conduct analysis of large data sets to extract insights, provide actionable recommendations
- Evaluate profitability across different parts of the business to support data-driven decision-making.
- Work cross-functionally on end-to-end strategic initiatives - from evaluating options and assessing trade-offs, to tracking execution and presenting findings to senior leadership.
- Assignments may include (depending on final placement): performance analysis of marketing channels with optimisation recommendations and in-depth pricing analysis of Farfetch’s position versus competitors, including price audit, root-cause investigations and improvement suggestions.
- Engage in continuous learning through hands-on experience and mentorship.
WHO YOU ARE
- Recently completed a postgraduate degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field with excellent results.
- Up to 1 year of relevant experience, such as internships or part-time roles in finance, consulting, or related fields. Experience in tech or FMCG is a plus, as well as working with large data sets.
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take on new challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Exceptional quantitative skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesise complex data and communicate insights effectively.
- Technical skills: Proficient in Excel (required); experience with SQL, Looker, and/or Tableau is a strong plus..
