We’re looking for a Finance Director to join the team at Ennismore. This role will take care of financial reporting, cash management, budgeting and forecasting, relationship with banks and auditors, insurances, internal control, tax planning. You’ll drive financial performance and compliance across the organisation, running and optimising day-to-day finance operations, and play a critical role in important in projects aimed at improving the financial performance over the long term.
Job DescriptionWhat you’ll do…
- Take ultimate responsibility for all financial matters, working with the management team to ensure the implementation of the company’s strategy and achievement of long-term objectives.
- Ensure that monthly / quarterly / yearly financial reporting is prepared and submitted timely and in accordance with the requirements of shareholders and management teams
- Regularly present and explain financial performance to the different relevant stakeholders
- Drive the Budgeting and Reforecasting processes across the organization, in line with the corporate timetable and requirements defined by Ennismore, in order to reliably forecast the company’s activity and financial performance
- Manage all cash processes, including monitoring and proactively ensuring that working capital and investment requirements are correctly planned and financed
- Play a key role in planning and executing strategic restructuring projects that are critical to the long term success of the company
- Leads, develop, coach and motivate the Finance team, ensuring that the Finance organisation can deliver on its key objectives over the long-term
- Ensure appropriate level of Internal Control by proactively driving implementation of relevant control processes across the business.
What we’re looking for…
- 10+ years of Finance experience, including a previous Finance Director role
- Bachelor/Master degree in Finance / MBA, with accounting qualifications
- Experience of challenging situations / turnaround scenarios
- Ideally with prior experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Rigorous and truly hands-on
- Capacity to build strong partnerships across the organisation and manage expectations of various stakeholders
- Strategic decision making and problem-solving abilities
- Business acumen
- Strong communication and presentation skills
