The Finance Director oversees the financial operations and management at our NYC site. This role is key in ensuring that financial activities align with the overall corporate strategy, while also providing leadership to the local finance teams. The Director works closely with corporate managers based in Israel (Headquarters), acting as a liaison and ensuring full synchronization across teams. These corporate managers are the Director's "dotted line" managers for site employees, and therefore collaboration and coordination between the local site and the corporate finance function is crucial.

Please note that this is a hybrid position working 3 days/week in our NYC office.


About The Role:

Site Financial Leadership:

  • Oversee financial business operations at the NYC site, ensuring alignment with corporate financial strategies and goals.
  • Providing leadership, mentoring, and support to the local finance team
  • Collaborate closely with corporate finance leadership in Israel, ensuring that site-specific financial activities are well-coordinated with corporate initiatives.
  • Provide leadership to finance teams at the site, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with local operations, sales, and other departments to provide financial insights that support business decision-making at the site.
  • Drive financial initiatives and projects that align with the corporate agenda, ensuring the site’s contribution to broader business objectives.

Collaboration with Corporate Finance:

  • Ensure full synchronization between site and corporate teams, including managing dotted-line reporting relationships with corporate managers in Israel.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the site and corporate finance functions, reporting directly to corporate finance leadership.
  • Work closely with corporate finance teams to ensure that the site’s financial reports, forecasts, and budgets align with overall corporate targets.

Budgeting and Financial Planning:

  • Oversee the site's budgeting and financial forecasting process, ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals.
  • Work with business units at the site to ensure efficient resource allocation and financial performance that meets strategic objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate business risk management specific to the site and ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulations.

Requirements

  • At least 10-12 years of experience in finance, with 10+ years in a managerial role within a high-growth technology company.
  • Experience supporting sales teams and creating growth strategies for site development.
  • Proven leadership experience managing large finance teams, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Strong collaboration skills with global finance teams.
  • Expertise in financial analysis and reporting, with the ability to communicate insights clearly.
  • Experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and meeting corporate financial targets.
  • Risk management experience, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls.
  • Strong project management skills, driving financial initiatives aligned with corporate goals.
  • Relevant academic degree.
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment and with remote teams.

For New York City-based hires only: Compensation Range: $240,000 - $260,000 base salary, subject to standard withholding and applicable taxes. In addition to base salary, the role includes opportunity to receive and/or earn a discretionary bonus and/or equity based on Company’s plans and in accordance with Company’s policies. Compensation finally awarded to the candidate will be commensurate with the candidate’s skills and experience. Compensation ranges for candidates in locations outside of New York City may differ based on the cost of labor and such additional factors for such other locations.
