Finance Data Cleanse, Reconciliation and Migration Analyst

  • Seeking a detail-oriented and analytical specialist to support our finance team by ensuring that finance related data is accurately cleansed, transformed, and migrated to the new finance systems in a timely and efficient manner. This will involve ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial data across multiple systems.
  • This role will involve collaborating closely with finance, IT, and data teams to ensure data integrity and adherence to financial reporting standards during the migration process.


Key Responsibilities will include:


  • Data Cleansing - Assess and identify inconsistencies, inaccuracies, and redundancies within the finance data. Apply data validation rules to ensure high-quality, accurate data.  Coordinate with finance teams to resolve data discrepancies.
  • Data Migration – work closely with Project team to help manage and execute the migration of financial data from legacy systems to the new Oracle Fusion ERP. Develop and implement data mapping strategies for smooth migration.  Work closely with IT teams to ensure data integrity and mitigate any system errors during the migration.
  • System Configuration & Testing - Assist in configuring the new financial systems to ensure they are ready for the migrated data. Perform testing of data migration processes, ensuring successful data transfer with minimal errors.
  • Documentation and Reporting - Maintain thorough documentation of data cleansing, migration processes, and outcomes. Provide regular status updates on data migration progress to key stakeholders.  Prepare post-migration data validation reports and resolve any identified issues.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration - Collaborate with finance, IT, and other cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and address potential issues. Act as the subject matter expert for data quality and migration in financial systems.
  • Training & Support - Provide training to finance users on the new data structure and system functionalities as needed. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting for any post-migration data issues.


Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience in finance data migration or data management projects, ideally with Oracle ERP.
  • Experience in financial data analysis, cleansing, and mapping.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, SQL, and data manipulation techniques.
  • Experience with data quality tools or software for cleansing and validating finance data.
  • Understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
