We’re looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our growing Finance team.
At TransUnion we’re happy to talk flexible working, both in terms of location and hours. We operate a hybrid model allowing you to explore the balance of work from home or from our offices in Leeds or London.
About the Role:
We're looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner to provide support for one or more Exec functional areas reporting into the Head of Finance Business Partnering. The successful applicant will be a key stakeholder to both senior leadership and the wider business through proactively delivering constructive challenges and input into the strategic decision making for a particular functional area.
Day to Day You’ll Be:
- Support the strategic and financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for the function. Ensure overall alignment with group plans.
- Support the function in producing accurate revenue (where applicable) and cost forecasting, understanding key drivers of the forecasts and input into a view of risks and opportunities
- Development and provision of relevant and insightful financial reporting and analysis, to drive improved business performance
- Support the on-going measurement of performance against the performance management framework and KPIs
- Assist with the design, costing and implementing of any sales commission plans or exceptional bonus schemes (as applicable) together with ongoing monitoring and reporting the performance against these plans.
- For revenue generating functions, comply with the governance structure around contract approvals, provide challenge and support around pricing / market context
- Robust cost management and challenge to drive improved efficiency and “value for money”
- Support the headcount management and approvals process, working closely with the HR business partner
- Early identification of business challenges and mitigation of business and financial risk through the application of robust governance procedures
- Regular liaison and reviews with Financial Control, FP&A, Sales Accounting and other Finance teams
- Involvement in wider finance initiatives to constantly evolve and improve the Group Finance function to make Finance a great place to work
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Qualified Accountant
- Previous Finance Business Partner experience or equivalent desirable
- Strong Interpersonal skills with experience communicating with senior stakeholders
