About Nothing

Nothing exists to make tech feel exciting again.

We’re building a different kind of technology company, one that puts design, emotion, and human creativity at the heart of everything we do. From the way our products look and feel to how we communicate and show up in culture, we believe technology should make you feel something.

Founded in London in 2020, we’ve grown from idea to global challenger in just a few years. Backed by GV (Google Ventures), EQT Ventures, and C Ventures, and investors like Tony Fadell (iPod), Casey Neistat, and Kevin Lin (Twitch), we’re now sold in 40+ markets with millions of users worldwide.

About the Team

We are seeking a sharp and experienced Finance Business Partner to act as the primary Finance partner to HQ marketing leadership and regional marketing teams at Nothing. This is an exciting opportunity to develop infrastructure and support a fast-growing and expressive team. You’ll report directly to the Head of Finance and work autonomously as the sole dedicated FBP for the Marketing function. You will become a trusted advisor, providing the clear framework to drive growth and return on investment. We move fast because we’re small and independent, and this role directly manages and optimizes a multi-million-pound global marketing investment.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the build of all marketing budgets, facilitate productive and direct discussions for effective decision-making, and ensure spending decisions reflect strategic initiatives.
  • Convert global marketing strategies into robust financial plans, including creating, implementing, and tracking a financial and non-financial KPI framework to measure performance with clarity.
  • Manage Global and Regional Marketing spend vs. budgets, including reconciliation of POs and invoices, variance analyses, and performance reviews.
  • Develop infrastructure for monthly and product lifecycle budget performance reviews, ensuring marketing spends are managed on a live basis to desired financial outcomes.
  • Support the wider Finance and Procurement teams to develop and enforce appropriate process, approval and financial control structures for all marketing spend.
  • Facilitate global communications and ensure a consistent strategy across London HQ and regional marketing, reflecting our Global, with a Point of View principle.

What We're Looking For

  • Extensive experience (8+ years), with at least 5 years partnering directly with marketing teams, preferably in consumer brands and/or consumer technology.
  • Deep understanding of marketing metrics and proven experience building frameworks for forecasting and evaluating performance.
  • A desire and drive to support in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, including global travel to partner with the regional marketing teams.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence presenting to senior business stakeholders to provide commercial insight and challenge to support investment trade-offs.
  • Proficiency with Excel / Google Sheets, and experience with appropriate reporting tools to deliver high-quality, clear financial analysis.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills combined with the pragmatism to develop and enforce clear control structures.
  • An owner mindset that empowers marketing with financial control and governance to ensure maximum return on investment.

How We Work

  • We build better tech by moving fast. That speed demands direct collaboration and shared creative energy. We believe the best work happens when we're together.
  • Location: London (Kings Cross & Farringdon offices).
  • Working Pattern: This is a full-time, in-office role (5 days a week). We move fast, and that means being physically present. We design flexibility around personal needs, but we focus on the magic that sparks when we’re all in the same room.
  • Commute: We ask that you live within a 60-minute commute of your home office location.
