Role and Responsibilities

The overall purpose of this role is to provide business partnering support to the Technical Operations and Quality functions of Mundipharma and act as a key support for the heads of these functions, creating value through budgeting, budgetary control and delivery of timely financial insights for decision making

Main Responsibilities

• Provide planning, performance management and decision support to the Technical Operations and Quality Leadership and their wider teams

• Support delivery of an on-time 5-year budget plan (Original Budget, Mid-Year Estimate and Year-end Estimate) for Tech Ops and Quality, in collaboration with Tech Ops Leadership, Central FP&A, Global Finance and Entity Finance

• Support Delivery against the financial plan for Tech Ops Opex, FTE, restructuring and exceptional costs through effective functional Opex management including regular meetings with operating teams as may be required

• Ensure complete and efficient month-end close including review of accruals, pre-payment, intercompany charges, and cost allocation by liaising with the Finance Shared Service Centre (FSSC), the Central Finance Reporting Team and Entity Finance teams

• Deliver regular and ad hoc Opex, FTE and Project reporting (actuals, forecast, variance analysis) covering Total Tech Ops, for Tech Ops Leadership Team, Central Reporting and Central FP&A teams

• Support preparation of business cases and capital expenditure proposals as required, providing options and scenarios

What you’ll bring

• Degree educated or be able to demonstrate significant relevant experience for successful delivery in role

• Qualified or part-qualified, working towards a formal Accounting Qualification E.g. ACCA, ACA or CIMA

• At least two years’ experience in a business-facing Finance role in a matrix and cross-functional environment

• Experience in driving process simplification and delivering continuous improvement is desirable

• Must possess advanced excel skills. Knowledge of Power BI and Power Query are an advantage

• Must have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities whilst maintaining focus on delivery

• Attention to detail, swift, incisive, reliable, aligned with a continuous improvement mindset.
