This is a hybrid role, with three days a week in-office at our dynamic Studio in Brixton.
About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead our dynamic finance team. This is a thrilling opportunity to become an integral part of a growing and innovative organization, where you can develop and advance your career in financial management and accounting.
In this role, you will oversee accurate financial records, ensure policy compliance, and support efficient financial operations. You will work across a range of financial functions, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to continuous process improvements in a fast-paced, creative environment.
We are seeking a well-rounded professional who is comfortable managing day-to-day financial operations, financial reporting, and strategic financial planning, while also eager to take on new challenges and grow within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including invoice processing and credit control.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Oversee month-end closing processes, including journal entries and fixed asset management.
- Manage payroll processing (prior experience highly preferred but not essential).
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, quarterly VAT returns, and compliance reporting.
- Implement and optimize financial systems and processes.
- Provide support during statutory audits, ensuring timely preparation of required documentation.
- Oversee revenue recognition and cash flow tracking.
- Maintain and improve business platforms, including financial software and reporting tools.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and provide insights to support business decision-making.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Finance role required
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Studying towards or part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
- Payroll experience highly desired but not required.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial software (NetSuite experience is a plus but not required).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with an eagerness to learn and grow.
- Creative agency experience in a similar role strongly preferred
Salary Pay Range
£40,000—£50,000 GBP
