The Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support core finance operations, including revenue processing, ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and audit support. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue/Accounts Receivable

• Raising sales invoices 
• Compiling grant claim packs and support 

• Preparing the month-end aged debtors reporting

Ledger Maintenance and Reconciliations

• Weekly bank recs
• Preparing the month-end balance sheet reconciliation files

• Posting prepayment, accruals, fixed asset and payroll journals at the month-end

• Preparing the month-end reporting analysis

• Raising intercompany invoices and preparing intercompany reconciliations

Audit

• Support with audit queries
• Support with first-time adoption of IFRS 15 calculations
• Support with updating IFRS consolidation files and preparing draft note disclosures

About You:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end processes
• Experience with accounts receivable and reconciliations
• Familiarity with IFRS (particularly IFRS 15) is desirable
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Proficient in Excel and accounting systems
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work collaboratively
