Position Overview  

The Finance Assistant (Accounts Receivable) will work with the wider Finance team to ensure financial reporting accuracy and contribute to an effective internal control environment. The role will support broad company initiatives and interact with key internal and external stakeholders. 

 

Duties 

  • Work with finance teams across the EMEA region to maintain control of all customer billing schedules  
  • Generate invoices and account statements to send to customers 
  • Apply payments received from customers to invoices in a timely manner 
  • Perform account reconciliations 
  • Maintain accounts receivable files and records 
  • Produce monthly financial and management reports 
  • Investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries with customers or internal stakeholders 
  • Assist in general financial management and analysis 
  • Support ad hoc activities as required, e.g. assistance with Annual Audit 
  • Assist in Month End closing when necessary 
  • Assist in Finance sub functions task when necessary 
  • Any adhoc duties, as and when required. 

 

Job Requirements  

  • Some sales ledger experience is desirable 

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, strongly preferred 

  • Experience in dealing with customers issues and problem solving 

  • Able to plan, organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines 

  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft desktop, as well as Microsoft Office 365 

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate internally with team members as well as externally with customers 

  • Work effectively in collaboration cross-functionally to achieve shared goals and deliver business objectives 

  • Ability to work on a hybrid basis; 3 days in the office as a minimum
