Job Description
This role is for a commercial & operationally focused Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team member to primarily assist with tracking and analysing the Head Office Marketing spend levels and campaign strategies, as well as analysis and presentation of financial data. The role will be based in London but will work closely with finance teams based in LA.
Key responsibilities:
- Key support for FP&A Manager as well as supporting and reviewing work for our Finance Intern
- Management accounting for Marketing and Film Operations costs, tracking, incorporating changes and communicating to LA teams
- Marketing - Support the Head Office Marketing team to track and analyse spend levels by title and key release campaign strategies
- Prints - Ensure accurate and timely forecasting of film print costs. Management of Head Office print cost tracking and analysis
- Weekly reporting process of International Box Office performance and downstream windows analysis.
- Preparation and presentation of EMEA Finance Management reporting packs involving analysis of profitability, territory market growth and foreign currency variation
- Preparation and review of ad hoc financial reports, tracking schedules and scenario analysis as well as communication to studio
- Active involvement in budgeting and long-range slate planning
- Accounts Payable (AP) support / Purchase Order (PO) training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Finance/Business
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Previous experience in a similar finance role
- Committment to supporting DEI behaviors and initiatives at all times
- Ability to work in a fast, dynamic environment while managing competing priorities and ensuring completeness / accuracy of estimates
- Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to interact with all levels
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and a desire to learn
- Good track record as a team player
- SAP Experience (desireable)
- Studying or Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
