As a Finance Analyst within the Content & Platform Finance team, you will help drive understanding of financial performance across content investment and platform costs, providing clear analysis and actionable insight to support decision-making.
You will take ownership of key areas of reporting and forecasting, working closely with stakeholders to understand performance drivers, identify risks and opportunities, and support both short-term delivery and longer-term planning.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Month-End
- Ownership of the Content & Platform month-end close process, ensuring outputs are accurate and delivered on time.
- Provide clear and concise commentary, explaining performance and key variances vs plan
- Own reporting and analysis of specific cost areas
Forecasting & Planning
- Support forecasting and budgeting processes, taking ownership of defined areas of the P&L.
- Maintain and update financial models, ensuring assumptions are robust and clearly understood.
- Track performance against forecast and proactively identify risks and opportunities.
Content & Commercial Analysis
- Deliver analysis on content performance and cost efficiency, identifying trends and areas for optimisation.
- Translate data into actionable insights to support better investment decisions.
Business Partnering
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across finance and commercial teams.
- Translate financial data into clear, actionable insight for non-finance audiences.
- Provide constructive challenge and support to improve decision-making.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes, and efficiency
- Support automation and simplification of existing workflows
- Maintain a high standard of data accuracy and integrity
Communication & Insight
- Present analysis clearly, both verbally and in written outputs.
- Tailor communication to different audiences.
- Focus on delivering concise, insight-led messaging.
What You'll Bring
- You will be a newly qualified finance professional or part qualified with experience of working in a high performing commercial finance team. Experience working within a Content or Streaming business useful but not mandatory.
- Insightful financial analysis which creates value, demonstrates good judgement, presentational and influencing skills.
- Clear communication skills, both verbal and written. A great communicator who can cultivate strong cross-functional relationships and communicate effectively with internal teams.
- A proactive approach, looking to challenge the status quo and look for improvements.

Where You'll Work
- We operate a hybrid working model, with the team office based 2/3 days per week. To maximise the benefits of team collaboration we ask team members to be in the office on Mondays & Thursdays (with flexibility on the 3rd office workday) but offering flexibility is a core value of our team and business.
- Your primary base will be in Osterley, on the Sky campus, a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Free shuttle buses are available, running to and from Osterley, Chiswick Park, Gunnersbury, Acton Town and Ealing Broadway tube stations. On-site parking, bike shelters and showers/changing facilities are also available.
