Finance Analyst - Reporting and Data Visualisation (12 months)

About the role

We are looking for a talented Finance Analyst with expertise in data visualisation and PowerPoint presentation design to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving and updating our financial reporting, ensuring data is presented clearly and effectively for internal stakeholders and executive leadership. You will be responsible for enhancing the visual appeal, clarity, and usability of our financial presentations, bringing creativity and analytical insight to the way we communicate our financial data.

Key responsibilities

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and maintain accurate, clear, and visually engaging financial presentations

• Collaborate with the finance team to gather, analyse, and interpret financial data for presentations and reports

• Update and optimise existing reports to reflect current insights and trends

Data visualisation:

• Design and implement dynamic data visualisations (charts, graphs and tables) that make financial data easy to understand

• Enhance presentations using best practices in visualisation to highlight key insights

• Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes using PowerPoint and other tools, reducing manual effort

• Proactively suggest improvements to reporting structures and presentation formats to enhance understanding and decision-making for continuous improvement

PowerPoint Expertise:

• Create, enhance, and manage PowerPoint presentations, ensuring consistency, clarity, and a professional visual design

• Maintain a library of pre-designed financial templates for easy and efficient reporting

• Ensure that all presentations meet company branding guidelines and legal standards

Qualifications and skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Finance or Business Development)

• Proven experience in financial analysis, reporting and ideally including experience in Consumer Health or FMCG industries

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including formatting and design

• Strong experience in data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) or advanced Excel for reporting

• Exceptional ability to create clear, concise, and engaging presentations

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines

• Strong communications and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with different stakeholders

• Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple projects at once
