Finance Administrator

Salary: £28,000 per annum, plus company benefits

Location: One Angel Lane, London, EC4R 3AB

Contract: Full Time, permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week

Shifts: Monday through Friday, 9am-6pm with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break

Work model: Fully onsite

Williams Lea seeks a Finance Administrator to join our team!

Purpose of role 

The Finance Administrator will work as part of a newly created Finance team to provide the highest level of customer service to our client’s requirements. Whilst the list of tasks in this document is not exhaustive, the Finance Administrator may cover any combination of the tasks set out below and will provide excellent customer service, performing all operations requested without direct supervision.

This includes, but is not limited to, the efficient and prompt answering of queries, adhering to the clients and Williams Lea’s, policies and procedures, courteous interaction with clients, completing all work within the agreed services levels and assisting with completing general administrative duties as and when required.

The Finance Administrator is accountable for maintaining the established relationship between the client and Williams Lea. This is an entry-level position that requires Microsoft Excel proficiency.

  

Key responsibilities 

  • Process and maintain financial records, including raising purchase orders and processing of invoices and providing invoice back up
  • Liaise with Accounts Payable to resolve any issues
  • Liaising with multiple contacts to fulfil the role
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of business reports for multiple departments
  • Support the client and the business budgeting and management information activities
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Handle general administrative tasks such as business reports, managing and storing of data
  • Liaising with Vendors
  • Maintaining up to date spreadsheets/systems. Identifying and reconciliation any discrepancies.
  • The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as and when required

Personal attributes

  • Previous experience in administration or a similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Finance experience is advantageous
  • Enthusiastic approach and positive can-do attitude
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient multi-tasker
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Have a high level of confidentiality and integrity
