Who are we looking for 

 

This role is focused on the remote operational delivery of our graphics services for the Volleyball National League. It is a unique blend of sport performance, technology, and operations in a fast-paced and thrilling environment. Successful candidates will be responsible for producing graphics for live broadcast data delivery.

 

The ideal candidate is a sports fan that appreciates the value that technology brings to the sporting arena. You will be interested in how data and graphics can be used to enhance viewer experience. You will be able to work confidently and independently in potentially ‘high pressure’ situations, where time and accuracy are important. Having pride in your work is important. While you will have a high degree of autonomy, you will be comfortable promptly engaging and clearly communicating with a range of demanding stakeholders, including broadcast, teams, event crew as well as the extended Sportable team. Availability when matches occur is critical, which includes many evenings and weekends. 

 

Location: UK. London preferred. Hybrid working options available.

Start date:  02/06/2025

End Date: estimated 26/09/2025

Working days: Shift rota typically Wednesday – Sunday with night and day shifts.

 

 

Required skills & experience: 

  • A keen sports fan with the ability to apply skills across sports
  • Proven ability to learn quickly
  • Proven ability to work and solve problems in high-pressure environments
  • Commitment to working outside of regular hours 

 

Personal Characteristics: 

  • Strong communication skills (written / verbal)
  • Creative application of sports and statistics
  • Diligently follow processes with high attention to detail
  • Highly organized
  • To always act and communicate with professionalism 

 

Nice to have:

  • In depth understanding of volleyball rules and tactics  
  • Student / Bachelor’s degree within sport science, sport technology or technical equivalent  
  • Competent using excel for data analysis and interpreting data 
  • Experience in a sports broadcast environment  
  • Hands-on experience with similar sports technology (GPS, video analysis, tactical applications, etc.) 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Become ‘super users’ of Sportable’s graphics enhancement technology.
  • Operate live graphics tools for volleyball broadcast.
  • Manage relationships with broadcast stakeholders.
  • Complete match administration tasks when required.
  • Work closely with internal Sportable teams on product / service development.

  • Client Delivery Manager EMEA

 

Working closely with: 

  • Client Delivery UK and Technical Operations Support teams)
  • Visualisation and Graphics Team
