This role is pivotal to Meter’s success in EMEA. As our first dedicated field marketing and events hire in the region, this person will not only shape how we show up across Europe but also help lay the foundation for how we scale marketing globally. We’re looking for someone who thrives on experimentation, knows how to turn field insights into repeatable playbooks, and can build a standout regional presence from the ground up. With a mix of partner-focused initiatives and end-user activations, this role will directly influence pipeline growth, strengthen our partner ecosystem, and deepen our brand’s relevance in a new and competitive market.

Without a dedicated resource, we risk missing the opportunity to translate early momentum into sustained growth. This hire will serve as a force multiplier—supporting the sales and channel teams with high-impact regional campaigns while also bridging partner and field marketing. Sitting on the partner marketing team, with a dotted line into field marketing, this role will uniquely connect our partner-facing programs with pipeline-driving end-user events. Their success will directly impact how we engage the market, activate partnerships, and scale Meter’s brand across EMEA.

What success looks like

  • Build the strategy and plan for the EMEA field marketing & event program alongside our founding sales team in the region, taking the best of what has worked in AMER and localizing tactics for EMEA.

  • Effectively manage all event logistics, production, venue sourcing, budget tracking, marketing campaigns, sales enablement, content development, ROI analysis, and audience acquisition.

  • Delight Meter customers and prospects, with a guest-first approach to creating field events and experiences that bring the Meter brand and product to life.

  • Scale EMEA events into a repeatable, high-ROI growth engine for the sales and channel teams.

What your day-to-day will look like

  • Serve as the primary field marketing contact for the sales team, ensuring event strategies directly align with account priorities and pipeline goals.

  • Partner with sales to map target accounts and design invite lists, ensuring we bring the right decision-makers into the room.

  • Roll up post-event results, distill insights, and adjust plans to continuously improve outcomes.

  • Collaborate closely with global field marketing to align on best practices, share resources, and maintain consistency across events.

Who you are

You've scaled event programs before, but now miss the thrill and ownership of startup life. You're eager to roll up your sleeves, get scrappy, and build something with your expertise. You see events as a strategic growth lever, energized by the challenge of transforming ambitious ideas into measurable pipeline growth and stronger brand visibility. You are creative, collaborative, and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments, bringing clarity to ambiguity while achieving measurable results.

Why Meter?

The internet runs the world. Every purchase you make, video call you join, it's all packets flowing through networks. But those networks haven’t changed for decades. They’re brittle, complex, and surprisingly hard to set up in an enterprise space.

We started Meter to build better networks. We had to build everything from the ground-up: designing and building our own enterprise hardware, intuitive software, and streamlined operations to deliver great outcomes for our customers. Today, we build and deploy these networks at scale. Ambitious companies and enduring institutions like Bridgewater, Lyft, Reddit, rely on Meter to keep their thousands of employees and locations online and productive.

Our bet with Meter is simple: we will all use the internet more than we do today. We believe we have the definitive networking stack in place to enable business to do so as seamlessly and reliably as any modern utility.

Compensation

  • The estimated base salary for this role is between £78,186 - £105,251.

  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Meter's equity plan.
