Azul is looking for a collaborative, results-driven Field Marketing Director – EMEA to lead the development and execution of our regional field marketing strategy. Reporting to the VP, Global Events & Field Marketing, this role will be instrumental in shaping Azul’s go-to-market presence across EMEA by aligning marketing initiatives with regional sales priorities, accelerating pipeline creation and supporting revenue growth.

You will serve as a strategic partner to the EMEA Sales team, own the end-to-end planning and execution of integrated marketing programs, and collaborate closely with the Channel, Corporate Marketing and Developer Relations teams. The ideal candidate is data-driven and has a strong track record of building and scaling impactful marketing programs.

What You'll Do (aka the Responsibilities)

  • Partner with the EMEA sales team to build out a robust field marketing plan that is aligned to their strategic priorities and quarterly pipeline and revenue goals.
  • Plan and execute high-impact demand generation and ABM programs including webinars, digital campaigns, conferences, hosted events, co-sponsored partner activities, etc.
  • Work with regional partners to develop co-marketing programs that align with channel pipeline and revenue goals.
  • Manage events onsite and travel as needed. 
  • Work with Digital Marketing to help direct digital strategy including paid advertising organic/unpaid results and localization of the Azul website.
  • Coordinate with Developers Relations on Java User Groups, call for speakers and event support.
  • Champion regional customer advocacy by working with Sales to identify and activate customer success stories, case studies, quotes and speaking opportunities.
  • Work with the corporate marketing team on regional/local press releases and other influencer engagement. 
  • Serve as the voice of the EMEA region within corporate marketing to ensure regional alignment on messaging, campaigns, and global initiatives.
  • Manage the lead flow process of local programs by working closely with the Operations, Channeland xDR teams. 
  • Manage the field marketing budget and performance metrics for the region; continuously analyze ROI and optimize based on insights.

What You'll Bring (aka Experience, Skills)

  • 10+ years of B2B field marketing experience with at least 3+ years at the director level or in a regional leadership role; experience in the enterprise software or IT sector required.
  • Proven success in building and executing integrated field marketing programs across diverse EMEA markets.
  • Exposure or experience with executing collaborative partner-based campaigns.
  • Ability to track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of field marketing programs against business goals, including lead generation, pipeline creation and closed-won business.
  • Experience with building account-based marketing campaigns.
  • Strong leadership, project management, communication and presentation skills at the executive level and across distributed teams.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, strong planning, organizational skills and outside-the-box thinking. 
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Asana, Marketo, 6Sense, Bizible, GoToWebinar, Sprout Social, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, Qlik and other marketing tools is a plus. 
  • Language Proficiency: English (required), German or French, highly desired
  • This is a remote-first position. Preference for candidate to be located near a major European transit hub.
