Are you passionate about building strong relationships and helping businesses grow? Do you enjoy managing and nurturing existing partnerships while identifying opportunities to expand their potential? Would you like to work for a global leader in Money Transfer that believes when money moves, better things can happen?

If you’re energized by working closely with clients, understanding their needs, and becoming a trusted partner in their success, then it’s time to join Western Union as a Field Sales Executive.

Western Union powers your pursuit.

As a Field Sales Executive, you’ll play a key role in supporting and growing our agent network across Scotland and North East England. While your coverage spans a broad region, most of your activity will be concentrated between Glasgow and Edinburgh—so the ideal candidate will be based in or near this area and open to regular travel across the region.

In this relationship-driven role, you’ll focus on maintaining and developing partnerships with our existing Western Union agents, supporting their success, and identifying new opportunities for growth. You’ll also work closely with our dedicated new business team to help onboard new agents and ensure they’re set up for long-term success.

We offer a company car and a competitive individual commission plan.

Role Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing agent partners, supporting them to optimize performance and grow their business.

  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding agents’ needs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and providing proactive, tailored support.

  • Onboard new agents and guide them through activation, training, and integration into the Western Union network.

  • Regularly visit agent locations, especially high-performing or strategic sites, to support and strengthen partnerships.

  • Monitor performance data and business trends, using insights to drive results and address any operational or service challenges.

  • Identify and sign new business opportunities, helping to expand our agent network in high-potential areas.

  • Own revenue growth and productivity metrics within your assigned territory.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for your agents, providing day-to-day support and ensuring a smooth partnership experience.

Role Requirements

  • Proven experience in account management, partner support, or outside sales.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust, actively listen, and communicate effectively across cultures.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships, solve problems proactively, and support business growth through collaboration.

  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, with attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a global, fast-paced environment.

  • Strong negotiation and decision-making abilities.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office tools.

  • Knowledge of the UK money transfer or remittance market is a strong advantage.

  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are highly welcomed and valued.

  • Must hold a valid UK driver’s license and be open to regular field travel across Scotland and North East England.
