FC Third-Party Oversight Senior Specialist is an experienced role, supporting the TPA FC Oversight Lead, with the responsibility for overseeing all Asset Management/TAs conducting financial crime activities on behalf of the business, and ensuring these activities remain in line with financial crime expectations set in the Group 2LoD Third Party Risk Management Framework.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the TPA FC Oversight Lead/Senior Specialist with:
- Overseeing outsourced Financial Crime controls, including those performed by TPAs/TAs for all AM business units and products.
- Developing and maintaining governance frameworks, including Terms of Reference of TPA Financial Crime forums and coordinating supplier governance meetings.
- Overseeing third-party FC policies, procedures, and controls align with M&G’s Financial Crime standards and regulatory expectations.
- Maintaining robust of TPA performance records, identifying trends and escalation areas.
- Reviewing and challenging KPIs/MI from TPAs, ensuring data integrity and actionable insights.
- Conducting thematic reviews on TPA activities (e.g., due diligence, screening).
- Escalating non-compliance or performance concerns to the Monitoring & Control Team Lead.
- Liaising with internal/external TPAs to embed a strong compliance culture.
- Contributing to enhancement of oversight frameworks and risk mitigation strategies.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in financial crime compliance within a regulated financial services environment.
- Experience in financial crime assurance activities, including process and control testing.
- Understanding of outsourcing arrangements and third-party risk management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret MI and identify emerging risks.
