What You’ll Do:

  • A hands-on role leading the AV and IT recommendations to clients. You will lead a customer-focused, standards-driven facilities team and provide professional, friendly, and proactive service. 
  • Maintain the venue and its facilities in excellent condition and ensure all meeting rooms and public areas are set show-round ready. 
  • Ensure that the venue complies with all aspects of health and safety and that all staff are trained to the minimum legal requirements.


Facilities & Operations:

  • To have a high level of AV/IT knowledge in order to meet client expectations and be able to trouble shoot where necessary.
  • Manage external AV partners either contracted or adhoc on etc equipment and service expectations.

To have a good understanding of network patching and the associated risks.

  • To be responsible for the Audio Visual equipment, ensuring that it is well maintained, stored securely and available for clients as required.
  • To have responsibility for ensuring that internet and telephone lines are available for clients when required.
  • To ensure that all additional venue furniture/equipment is ordered on a weekly basis.
  • To ensure that maintenance checks are being carried out throughout the venue on a daily basis. 
  • To ensure that all faults and maintenance issues are logged via Sharepoint.
  • To carry out minor maintenance tasks and to delegate these tasks where necessary.
  • To ensure that security procedures are adhered to, particularly in respect to the closing up of the venue each day.
  • To ensure that all meeting rooms are serviced and tidied at break-times including lunch times.
  • To ensure a deep cleaning schedule is in place and quality checks are carried out.


Health & Safety:

  • To represent the venue as a health and safety officer / fire officer ensuring that all mandatory checks / fire alarm tests and evacuation drills are carried out as per the safety regulations. 
  • To participate in monthly health and safety meetings.
  • To support the Head Chef with all relevant Risk Assessments including fire, HACCP, and COSHH.


General:

  • To be available for staff briefings and company events including attendance at the company
  • To be available for weekend work where necessary
  • To undertake any reasonable requests for ad hoc duties by the venue team
