The role

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the business, partnering with stakeholders to strategically evaluate resourcing needs and third party engagement models.
  • Provide comprehensive support, partnership and guidance to stakeholders throughout the external workforce lifecycle.
  • Track and report on GDM's external workforce population, providing valuable insights into contingent talent trends to senior leadership.
  • Proactively engage with stakeholders to facilitate timely discussions regarding contract extensions and/or work transitions.
  • Collaborate with strategic partners such as Systems and Security to develop and mature access management policies and processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cross-functional stakeholder issues related to external workforce operations.
  • Design and implement a concierge onboarding solution for GDM that reduces bureaucracy.
  • Develop and lead a comprehensive Supplier Induction programme, ensuring our new suppliers are fully equipped with the knowledge and training to seamlessly integrate with our systems and operational standards.

You're a natural problem-solver who enjoys untangling complex issues and simplifying processes.

Given the dynamic nature of our industry, priorities can shift quickly. We’re looking for someone who embraces this fluidity with curiosity and enthusiasm, adapting swiftly to new directions and proactively seeking out fresh opportunities.

In order to set you up for success as a Extended Workforce Ops Partner at Google DeepMind, we look for the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in stakeholder management and partnership, with the ability to influence and guide business partners on best practices and compliant solutions.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with a keen eye for identifying inefficiencies and driving solutions through automation or process improvement.
  • 5 years of relevant experience.

In addition, the following would be an advantage:

  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks and risk mitigation strategies related to external workforce engagement.
