We’re seeking an Experiential Event Sales Manager to join our Sales team. The Experiential Event Sales Manager will report directly to the Director of UK Sales.

Please note: candidate must currently reside in the UK and be able to work in the UK without sponsorship.

The Experiential Event Sales Manager (Senior Account Manager - Conference) will play a key role in driving revenue growth from a blend of account management and new business development, aligned with Convene’s business objectives in the UK. This individual will maximise revenue through the proactive management of a portfolio of key accounts as well as expanding Convene’s presence in the experiential market by attracting experiential agencies and brands to bring large-scale events to our premium venues.

Reporting directly to the Director of Sales and collaborating closely with the wider sales team, sales leadership, revenue management, corporate legal, and marketing teams, the Senior Account Manager will serve as a key driver of growth, increasing revenue across business and consumer event sectors, this role will elevate Convene’s market share and contribute meaningfully to its growth strategy.

What You’ll Do:

  • Consistently exceed revenue targets through strategic sales and account management efforts and ensure team alignment with broader commercial objectives
  • Cultivate relationships with managed accounts, aiming to elevate them to the Regional/Enterprise level or identify accounts that could benefit from MSAs across our global portfolio
  • Actively drive new revenue growth by capitalising on opportunities in the experiential events market
  • Act as a go-to expert on Convene and etc.venues by Convene product offerings, including Meetings and technology solutions
  • Articulately describe product features and translate them into functional solutions for clients
  • Maintain an engaging and approachable sales presence, both in person and virtually
  • Be familiar with competitors in the market and effectively articulate the Convene story and differentiation
  • Business Development  - proven experience in growing demand through strategic account development, expanding network of contacts and building relationships

What We Look For: 

  • 5+ years of experience in a commercial role within the UK meetings and events industry
  • Proven track record in selling to London’s corporate and agency markets
  • Knowledge of experiential events across business and consumer markets
  • Exceptional networking abilities and relationship-building sales skills
  • Capable of working independently while thriving in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
