Job Description
SENIOR CORPORATE ACCOUNTANT
The Role & Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of management accounts on monthly quarterly and ad hoc basis after completing the bookkeeping in the software with possibility of review
- Preparation of annual Financial Statements in line with IFRS for audit and filing purposes with the statutory authority and at such frequency as required by clients with possibility of review
- Liaise with auditors to ensure timely completion of audits.
- Preparation of tax computation in line with the Mauritius Income Tax Laws
- Overall responsibility for client relationship, inquiries and meetings.
Skills Required:
- Around 3-4 years of accounting working experience.
- ACCA qualified or partly qualified or any equivalent qualification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent time and organisational skills to work and meet agreed tight deadlines.
- Hard worker ready to put in the extra hours.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Organised, accurate and willing to learn and take on new tasks.
