The Paid Social Account Executive plays a key role in the day‑to‑day activation and optimisation of paid social campaigns across WPP Media clients. This is an entry‑level to early‑career role designed for someone developing a strong foundation in social platform activation, performance analysis, and client service.
Key ResponsibilitiesCampaign Activation & Optimisation- Support the setup, activation, and day‑to‑day management of paid social campaigns across platforms such as Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and X, depending on client requirements.
- Monitor campaign performance and delivery daily, ensuring budgets, pacing, and KPIs are on track.
- Implement optimisations under guidance from senior team members, including audience refinements, creative rotations, and budget adjustments.
- Ensure all activity follows platform best practice and WPP Media governance standards.
- Support the creation of weekly, monthly, and ad‑hoc performance reports for clients, clearly explaining results and trends.
- Analyse campaign performance data to identify insights, learnings, and optimisation opportunities.
- Maintain accurate campaign documentation, trackers, and performance logs.
- Assist Account Managers in responding to client requests and day‑to‑day communications.
- Prepare slides, performance summaries, and materials for client calls and status meetings.
- Work closely with planning, creative, data, and analytics teams to ensure smooth campaign delivery.
- Build strong internal relationships and demonstrate proactive ownership of assigned tasks.
- Actively engage in WPP Media training programmes, platform certifications, and Social Excellence initiatives.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, platform updates, and emerging social formats.
- Experience in paid social, digital media, or a relevant marketing role (agency experience preferred but not essential).
- Strong interest in social media platforms and digital advertising.
- High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Confident with numbers and performance data; comfortable working in Excel and PowerPoint/Google Slides.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Hands‑on experience with Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, or other paid social platforms.
- Experience supporting performance reporting or optimisation.
- Platform certifications (Meta, TikTok, etc.) or willingness to work towards them.
