Tulip brings modern technology and AI into manufacturing. Manufacturing accounts for almost 20% of the global economy and one in every seven workers on Earth, yet remains among the least digitized. More than a decade ago, we created the category to close that gap: AI-native software that puts cutting-edge tools directly in the hands of the people on the manufacturing front lines. Because we are human-centered and tech-obsessed, we are building a future of work where human ingenuity is amplified with the latest technology.

In January 2026 we became one of Boston's few new AI unicorns, reaching a $1.3B valuation. We're growing double digits in revenue year over year. The world's best manufacturers run on Tulip - turning inventory 10x faster, releasing gene therapies in hours instead of weeks, and training master craftspeople to forge engagement rings 5x more rapidly. Headquartered in Somerville, MA with offices in Germany, Hungary, Singapore, Japan, and Israel, we've been consistently named a World Economic Forum Global Innovator, a Gartner leader, and one of Built In Boston's "Best Places to Work."

We run the way we build: AI-forward, humanistic, and high ownership. We're looking for builders who are energized by complex problems, rapid cycles, and the unique opportunity to see their impact on a global scale.

About the Role:

This role sits at the intersection of what Tulip tells the world and what Tulip tells itself. The Senior Manager, Executive & Internal Communications owns the narratives that shape how analysts, employees, and the broader market understand Tulip’s direction, working closely with the Office of the CEO. It requires proximity, trust, and craft - someone who understands the company’s strategy well enough to represent it, and who has the credibility with analysts and internal stakeholders to make the communications land.

About You:

You think in the CEO’s voice well enough that a keynote, an all-hands narrative, or a board-facing deck comes back from you largely unchanged. You’ve built real credibility with analysts and internal stakeholders, and you know instinctively what to say, what to hold back, and how to make a message land without over-promising.

What skills do I need?

  • 8+ years of experience in executive, corporate, or internal communications, including writing for senior executives — you’ve put words in the mouths of C-suite leaders and they’ve used them, unedited
  • Analyst relations experience — you understand how the analyst community works, how to build relationships, and how to position a company in a Magic Quadrant or Wave
  • Exceptional judgment — you know what to say, what not to say, and how to thread the needle between transparency and discretion
  • A demonstrated track record of handling sensitive information with discretion and earning the confidence of senior leadership
  • A strong written voice with the flexibility to write convincingly in someone else’s voice without losing the substance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write for the CEO: draft keynotes, all-hands narratives, board-facing materials, and public statements in the CEO’s voice
  • Develop communications frameworks that give the leadership team a consistent voice across internal and external channels
  • Manage crisis and reactive communications in partnership with Legal and the CMO
  • Orchestrate analyst message cadence, coordinating leadership, product experts, and customers with Gartner, IDC, and other relevant analysts
  • Prepare briefing materials and manage day-to-day analyst interactions
  • Author thought leadership — social posts, Forbes articles, and other content that amplifies Tulip’s key narratives, developed in collaboration with the executive team
  • Own the narrative arc of how Tulip communicates its direction, priorities, and milestones to employees
  • Collaborate with the Office of the CEO on message prioritization and cross-functional alignment
  • Partner with Product Marketing and Corporate Marketing to keep internal and external narratives consistent

Key Collaborators:

  • CEO
  • Executive Leadership Team
  • Office of the CEO
  • Product Marketing
  • Corporate Marketing
